This eliminates all trade and tariff risks associated with importing aluminum frames and ensures a stronger more secure, American sourced energy future. Most importantly it builds the Arkansas economy and provides jobs to the local community.
As modules have grown 40-60% larger over the last 5 years, and glass and frame structures have been cost reduced, modules have become significantly weaker and prone to increased breakage.
Steel frames provide 2X the strength of aluminum frames and provide much needed additional structural support for larger modules helping them last through severe weather and wind for their 25-year expected life.
